One of the 5 always has to take off from the group!!!

Welp, Ive been boxing now for quite some time and i even have it set up so good that I can do pretty much any instance in WoW. The problem is simple. I have alt-D set so that my guys that are following my main toon all turn right and then i go in and tank and then the slaves are usually all ranged. I find that to work the best. Quite regularly one guy decides he's going on a suicide mission and runs into the room and pretty much aggros all the mobs and we wipe. I'm curious to know if getting Jamba will help with this As currently I do not have that installed. Because its very annoying. It happens pretty much every day. I have to try to get control of the guy somehow. Usually I can, but a lot of times I cannot and its over.

I searched the forum here but I wasnt really sure the search term here. Like I said I am the only melee guy. The rest are range. So why is one running into the mobs when they are locked down behind me and not following anymore because of the command to get them to stop?

Okay. The answer does not lie in your ISBoxer profile itself, but rather some sequence of events happening in the game. So I'm going to have to do some guessing and throw some random things here about things you might be doing:

My first thought is that for this to happen from your Alt+D key, Mouse2 (Right click, for mouse look) would probably need to be pressed. That is, unless you have a custom strafe key that might also be on D, especially Alt+D. If you have Repeater enabled, or have the mouse over a Repeater Region, any modifiers you're holding are also passed to the Repeater Target (so that if you shift+click, that window gets a shift+click). So if your mouse is over a Repeater Region that goes just to your healer, and you hold Alt+D, then your healer is going to get the Alt that you are holding, independently from the D->all other. (Note that for Mapped Keys that DO NOT have the Hold option enabled, that "D->all other" would override the Alt you are broadcasting; this is specifically because the Hold option is enabled when sending D, it cannot drop the Alt)

I was able to duplicate the problem. I think its because I am switching too fast. Kind of like you said the ALT key may be the issue. I am going to try a few things here to see if it works. So far I have run 2 instances and no problems with the party running off. I'll know more soon.

Now if I can figure out how to get my main screen to have better FPS. When I switch to my other monitor and play another toon in there the FPS is actually 10 higher than on my main. I have instant swapping off also i do believe and 2 monitors as I stated. The main monitor always seems to be lower on FPS for some reason and I cannot figure it out.

If you are pressing a movement key and switch to a different toon, the movement key will remain pressed until you enter the screen and press/release the key again. I use focus follows mouse, and occasionally will move the mouse onto another screen with a movement key pressed. I suspect this will duplicate the problem you are seeing. I've considered putting a repeater region along the interface between the main and slaves, with a send 'W','A','S','D' press/release to all toons to stop any movement keys that are being pressed during the transition.

Yeah, Im not switching to different toons. I am on the main guy and moving up to tank and then one of the guys goes running off somewhere on his own. It just happened again. So I guess what I thought fixed it didn't. The only way I was able to duplicate it was hitting SWDA a bunch of times along with Control-R which I dont do for ranged guys at all because thats my interact with target.

Im baffled.
