Running WOW on more than 1 HD

Hello,

I was just wondering if we can run World of Warcraft on more than one hard drive. One for Master and another for the slaves. If so or not, would it make a difference on gameplay? Just saw it on a Video of a multiboxer and was curious.

In short: You CAN, yes. Generally you don't WANT to.

In detail: The reason you don't want to is because it reduces caching (it is much, much slower to read data from the HDD again than if it is still cached by some layer) -- multiboxers who use multiple folders often use tricks (symbolic links, junction points) to try to get both the benefits of multiple folders (which is different configurations) while keeping the benefits of a single folder (performance). With ISBoxer, the multiple configurations bit is solved by virtual files so that you do not need to worry about any of these things ;)

But yes, absolutely you can feel free to try it out and see how it performs for you.
