Problem with landing of the toons while gathering w flying

Hi when i'm gathering with the sky golem the toons wont land when the main got on the ground. is there a possibility that the toons follow with a smaller distance or that they have to land. or do i ever have to dismount and mount up again?

I know my english isnt the best.

Follow distance is not something there is any control over unless you are a developer for Blizzard.

You can create a mapped key to broadcast "sit" to all the toons for landing.
