Warcraft addon issue!

Hello,ive got an out of date Isboxer AddOn for WoW and today is patch 5.2 . Ive already deleted the AddOn ( isboxer ) from my wow addon folder and gone to Isboxer tool kit and exported to Inner Space yet no updated AddOn is created.Also there is nowhere where i can find a direct AddOn download ( obviously not required as exporting to IS should create a new AddOn but still... ).

A second genuine concern that has ruined my multiboxing experience is the Follow command does not work anymore in WoW i have several sets of duel boxing chr`s and the slave chr when switching lead wont allow the other chr to follow - only 1 chr has lead constantly....other chr is a dummy that when switched to lead has no way of making the other chr follow automatically .Ofc this was yesterday and today i cant even get an upto date Isboxer AddOn so the situation has only gotten worse!

I can no longer pwn in PvP like a boss

All in all im double screwed,no addon and follow dont work : /

But as im a new customer and new to multiboxing i can only say sorry if ive posted somewhere odd but gratz on a very good product .... until Wow patch 5.2 * sadface

It (/follow) doesn't work in BGs/arenas/RBGS only until further notice, it still works anywhere else that I'm aware of.

Correct, you do not need to specifically download anything on patch days for the ISBoxer Addon. FAQ: World of Warcraft patched and now my ISBoxer Addon is out of date, where do I get the updated Addon?

Currently, the update for this Addon is held up by ISBoxer 41 Beta which just got underway yesterday as well. Simply loading the out-of-date Addon is sufficient; the only change the ISBoxer Addon actually gets on patch days is the interface version number in the ISBoxer.toc file, so you lose absolutely nothing by loading it out of date as opposed to having it not out of date.

TL;DR: Load the out of date ISBoxer Addon for now.

Thank for the replies guys,ive decided to add some infomation so as to help recover this multiboxing awesomeness.

1.The follow command dont work in PvE nor PvP nor anywhere in the world ( WoW ).

2.All keybinds no longer work for multiboxing purposes.

3.The AddOn currently ( out of date ) has no functionality at all. I recall a prior wow patch having zero effect on the Is AddOn at the time.However currently ( wow patch 5.2. ) the AddOn is redundant unfortunately.

Points 1 and 2 above may be AddOn related ( clash with new patch 5.2 maybe ) or may not,im no expert tbh.

Its clear i should wait for the beta to conclude and pray that Blizzard did not remove the follow from BG`s with intent - if so i cant see why they would remove it from WoW ( world map ) in general for multiboxers.

Ive seen the Twitter posts regarding the BG follow issue and shall follow this drama as it unfolds.

THE ISBOXER ADDON IS OUT OF DATE. LOAD THE OUT OF DATE ISBOXER ADDON AND IT WILL WORK EXACTLY AS IT DID BEFORE THE PATCH. THE FOLLOW COMMAND IS NOT BROKEN IN WORLD OR ANYWHERE OTHER THAN BATTLEGROUNDS AND ARENAS.

Just been testing the current IS boxer AddOn.

Follow wont work automatically with IS Boxer AddOn as normal,unfortunately i have to set follow manually ( normal wow follow ) but no big deal

Also the default keys 1,2,3 etc work fine for broadcasting attack actions but the targeting wont apply to slave.For example the lead chr attacks as normal ( ranged dps class hunter ) but unless the slave is attacked it wont respond to leads attack key bind broadcasting.

What is happening is lead attacks target and slave gets text informing - There is nothing to attack. So the broadcasting is fine but the actual attacking slave is not,something lost wherby the slave wont assist lead.

I dont know about everyone else but i have no follow set to auto ( with addon ) at all anywhere in wow + i get no assists from slave chr even though broadcasting bind keys works perfectly.

Ill wait for Isboxer beta as im experiencing some oddities.

Your description exactly matches the ISBoxer Addon not being enabled in the window(s) that will not follow or assist, fully consistent with the WoW Quicker Start Guide parts 3 through 7. Remember that "Load out of date addons" must be enabled at the top of the Addons list, to load the out of date Addon.

Worst case, you can in ISBoxer go to File, select Clear, run the Quick Setup Wizard again and Export, and follow the WoW Quicker Start Guide...

You can also join the Beta Testers usergroup through the User Control Panel for access to the beta
