Repeater Regions not working correctly

Hi there

I have just set up a basic repeater region after watching MiRai's video on healing (ISBoxer 42 — Healing and Crowd Control (Crash Course) — One-on-One w/ MiRai) and only setting up the most basic RR using 1 column and only using a single healer in an action target group, but no matter what I do whenever i click a toon in my group of 5, the healer always heals the wrong target.

I am using clique and this is set up correctly, i have made sure by checking with only using 1 spell (FoL R6).

In the GUI i have target set to H1 (as per the video), have tried both hardcoding to the healer slot and using group H1 but this doesn't fix anything. Also have checked block click from current window as pewr the video.

Driving me insane, was wondering if there was something I am not doing right ...

Thanks in advance,

BK

Re: Repeater Regions not working correctly

Repeater region info is not in the profile. It's an older system which is stored externally.

That said, it is a fairly simple system. Within the source area, mouse and keyboard are repeated to the destination slot(s) areas.

If the healer is healing the wrong target, then the thing to check is that the healer is targeting correctly when you have the mouse over the repeated unit frame. ideally the unit frames on all toons are ordered the same, so when over the frame in the active window, the repeated cursor is over the correct frame for the healer.

Re: Repeater Regions not working correctly

hi there,

Many thanks for the quick reply. Apologies but I have only been using ISBoxer for approx 2-3 months so still learning.

I'm not sure how to ensure that targets are the same as on the actual screens 1-5 the party order is different because the main toon from that relevant window is always character 1, then the next lowest slot is in position 2, and so forth. Because of this the first and second toons are always wrong (party 5 always heals himself when i click on the RR on party member 1 (tank), clicking on party member 2 actually heals me (party member 1 as this is the next character in party 5's UI) and then 3,4 and 5 are targetted correctly and healed. I've read some historical posts about raid party frames but i use ElvUI so this is turned off by default.

I only have 1 character in my ATG (healer slot 5) and only have 1 Repeater region set (1 column across half of the party as per the video).

Not sure what else I can do in terms of settings to make this right.

Best regards
BK

Re: Repeater Regions not working correctly

hi again,

I managed to solve this, it looks like my UI (ElvUI) takes over my raid profiles, and by using the ElvUI Raid Profiles and setting it to list by alphabetical order on each window, all the toons are now in the same order which is allowing RR to work properly.

Originally I had tried to use the default system Raid Profiles which was not working as it is taken over by ElvUI.

Many thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

Multiple ATG Healing groups now working as intended now :)

All the best,
BK
