I'm sooo confused...

I just started multiboxing and I'm soooo confused. I've RAF'd my toons, A to B, and C to D, since I didn't want to have to buy 4 whole new accounts and use my other 2 instead.

Anyways, I'm really just confused about everything. I finally got my 4 to level 10 after like 3 hours, shouldn't of taken that long I don't think =/. Anyways, their all enhancement shamans and now I'm having issues trying to find weapons for them all. Also, shouldn't they run up to the mob wiht the lead toon and start attacking or what, because they don't.

Re: I'm sooo confused...

Your RAF links are:
A > B
C > D

Two existing accounts (AC), and two new accounts (BD).
The gain RAF bonuses, all four have to be grouped and relatively close to each other.

If you were to add another account to your mix.
Account E, referred by either B or D.
You could then "boost" with A/C (whichever one is the account in the three accounts linked together chain).
With... A > B > E and C > D, Account A can "boost".
And with... A > B and C > D > E, Account C can "boost".

If you have a high level toon on either A or C (the original two accounts), consider "boosting" as that is the fastest leveling.
If you have A > B > E, with C > D, you can have an 80/85 on A.
A/B RAF link will not work, for the triple experience, because A/B are more than four levels apart.
But B/E will meet all the requirements, and get the benefits (as will C/D).

So you'd group all five toons, and have the higher level kill the mobs for quests while the lower levels are on auto follow and looting, etc.
Or park the lower toons at zone in, and have the higher level gather a mass of mobs and AoE them down... then move in to position two, and repeat.

Boosting is extremely fast leveling, if speed is your goal.
You do have three months of RAF, so plenty of time of level a lot of combinations with or without boosting.

I would probably just quest with them, as a team... you don't have a Tank or Healer dedicated toon, so instances aren't as good of an option.
Check online for Jaime's Leveling Guide, which is free.
It is a quest stacking guide.

You'll be able to skip a lot of content, because of the RAF leveling speed.
Quest rewards will keep you competitively geared as you level.
Most of these quests are aimed for solo toons; with four DPS, you'll complete them with relative ease, even with less skills trained and crappy gear.

1H weapons or fist weapons that are better than either of your current weapons will be a prime choice for a quest reward.
You can complete level 55 quests, with Skinning Knives on your toons.
Quests aren't really that hard.
I wouldn't worry about getting special gearing for them.
Just level up and take quest rewards that are the biggest upgrade.

If you don't already have it, get the addon Jamba.
It is modular, so you can ditch (uncheck a module) several components of it, like FTL macros since IS Boxer has FTL assist already.

A lot of boxing stuff in there that will make your life easier.

You'll want to set an Interact With Target key, for each of your toons (you'll find this in the Targeting Functions section, of the Warcraft Keybinds).
It should be the same key for each of them.

Then in the IS Boxer Toolkit, you'll need to use that hotkey for the IWT mapped key.

You'll also need to have Click to Move enabled.
The IWT mapped key will do that for you, if you use the generated key from the wizard.

Press the hotkey (which doesn't have to be the same output key-combination that you set for IWT in warcraft).
It will have your toons Interact With (or run up to, and initiate melee if the target is hostile) whatever you target, when the hotkey is pressed.

You'll want independent slave movement.
Take a look at the "Others Jump" mapped key, in the General Keymap.
Copy it, even copy/paste if you want.
Change the hotkey to say Down Arrow instead of Ctrl + Space.
And have it send Down Arrow to the targets (Windows All Without Current) instead of Space Bar.
When you push down arrow, only the other windows will receive it, and they'll break follow... which is good if you accidentally press your IWT key while targeting something 25 levels higher than you.

If you want a really basic (as in I assume you know nothing) walk through on a lot of mapped key...
A short course in how to use the Toolkit...
Check out my guide to IS Boxer, in the Guide section.
Even if many of the examples are outdated, or done for you automatically by the wizard now...
It gives you an idea of how to interact with the toolkit, what to click and where, etc.
And gives a basis for implementing something you want to add to your set up.

Re: I'm sooo confused...

Questing can be tough when running in a group. In particular avoid gather quests like the plague, they will kill your questing speed. Some gather quests are multi-loot (one kill, every toon gets item) but most aren't.

If you have a high level toon on each of your two existing accounts, you can boost pretty quickly. Take an 85 on A and group with C & D, and run deadmines. Make sure C & D are within range when killing, but they don't have to be in the action. Then repeat with an 85 on C grouped with noobs on A & B.

Basically, you want to get the toons into a dungeon at the lowest possible level, and then grind until you can get into the next dungeon. When you hit the 5 instance/hour limit, switch to the other team. I boosted a team to ~70 before running Kara with an 80 pally, and the only questing I did were the class quests.

Re: I'm sooo confused...

I've just made one of my shamans a healer dungeons, the others are elemental for ranged with 1 enhancement. I'll try that down arrow to stop the ranged/healer from going itno melee.

Thanks for the reply though.
