BNet - Single Account Login (Classic)

I'm running into a bit of an issue, and I've read up on the wiki on how it's meant to be fixed (https://isboxer.com/wiki/HOWTO:Autologi ... Battle.net). However, I've just hit a wall with getting signed in. The Wiki states to use the Launcher; there are 2 launchers - one at /Program Files/World of Warcraft/Launcher.exe, and another at /Program Files/World of Warcraft/_classic_/Launcher. Neither work. The 2nd (classic launcher) states that it is the wrong game version.

Closed BNet (following directions from the wiki):
Starts BNet up --> "Signing in.."
Takes me to a login screen for the BNet client each time.

Keeping BNet Open:
Starts BNet Up --> "Signing in.."
Tabs into the already-open BNet client (which confuses me a bit on why it states "signing in," again).
Click Play, anyway.
Loads up the game and character screen, but does not organize the client to the correct monitor (I'm assuming because ISBoxer believe that it already "launched" what it was meant to - the launcher, instead of waiting for the game client, itself).

I'm a bit lost on how everyone else here was able to get around this, but would love to know!

The launcher in the classic folder doesn't work, and hasn't for a while. It is a left over that Blizzard have not automatically removed.

Did InnerSpace not detect your game install? It might not if this has been copied around from the original location? If it did, then the part which says, "If InnerSpace automatically found your game, then there will be pre-configured profiles ending with the word 'Launcher'", means you can just use the existing game profile for World of Warcraft Launcher, rather than trying to add and configure yourself. This is handy as it has a "kill" command to ensure battle.net is not running prior to InnerSpace trying to run battle.net

If the above was not a clue. Battle.net must be fully closed before starting, hence the default setup has a kill on battle.net.
Each instance that comes up, you need to make sure is set to close/exit on game launch.
If it uses the same launcher, then you get the everything goes to the same spot issue.

Re: BNet - Single Account Login (Classic)

Thank you for your reply here!

Nope, InnerSpace never detected WoW. I'm on a fresh install of Windows 10; long story, but BattleNet and WoW are two of 5 total games and ~20 total programs installed. WoW is installed on the secondary drive, which does not have a default beyond D:/, so it's under D:/Program Files (x86)/World of Warcraft/.." InnerSpace never detected the install, and still hasn't. I completely got that clue, which is why I elaborated a bit on what happens on each boot-type. If I close BNet like the "clue" states it just takes me to a login screen for BNet. If I keep BNet open, ISBoxer opens up the already-opened BNet client.

My question, here and now, would be - what's the correct location for the .exe to be launched? Are there custom parameters that need to be set up in order to kill the previous BNet client, before another is launched?

Or, secondly, is there another way to "force" InnerSpace to detect the location of the files?

Or, thirdly, do I just need to uninstall BNet and WoW and reinstall them to the main directory on C:/ in order for this to work properly?

Re: BNet - Single Account Login (Classic)

You can have WoW installed where you like. InnerSpace usually finds it by known location or by looking up the uninstall key in the registry. If it was not installed through the standard game installer, or it has been moved since, or you've reinstalled Windows and not reinstalled the game, then these sometimes fail.

The correct Launcher is the one in the parent folder. Usually called World of Warcraft. Below that will be \_classic_ and/or \_retail_ folders.

For me, the WoW install was autodetected, even though I have it in a different location, but then I installed WoW after I installed Windows, and have not reinstalled Windows since.
These are the default settings I have.

You can edit the game profile to match (your main executable path will be different).
See this handy gif on how to.
