Just starting, but it's not going well at all.

Alright. I've been watching the videos online, I did the Quick Setup Wizard. I'm simply trying to make a profile with my lvl 100 Tank Druid and my baby shammy to follow around and pick up the exp as we go on. So far, my issues are pretty vast. I get it to log in just fine, I didn't change any settings, I'm running on a plenty powerful computer for two (two GTX 770s overclocked, 32GB of RAM, i7 quad core...) running each game at medium to high settings with a direct ethernet 315MB connection in.

So, I log in and their movements are always significantly lagging behind one another. I use keybindings, but the follow binding (I've changed it, left it as is, started with a new account with no previous bindings interfering) never works, the invite DOES work, the formations don't behave... I'm just a bit lost. I'd like to make just a fresh set since I suspect my previous ones are pretty wrecked and I'm deleting them when they just don't work. When I try to run through RFC, with just normal follow on (selected manually through the portraits in game), I inevitably have a character in the lava or off the side or left behind running into a wall. I shoot straight down the middle and avoid any blockages but I still get caught.

I've also tried this with three casters just to learn the basics and it's giving me all the same issues. Nothing is targeting correctly, the toons aren't moving correctly... It's all very frustrating.

Re: Just starting, but it's not going well at all.

From your description it sounds like you are playing with Broadcasting enabled. Don't do this. The toons will wander off in different directions. If you aren't then you will need to sort your lagging issue because it will play havoc with the follow.

If you are getting poor framerates, then this might be because you have chosen a round robin CPU strategy (and thus limiting your games to 1 core each) or some other software you have installed that does not play nice. There is a page dedicated to helping find these things. http://www.isboxer.com/wiki/HOWTO:Tweak_your_framerate. If that doesn't help you can provide a diagnostic for crashes (yes I know you aren't crashing).

To delete your setup, use the menus File -> Clear in the ISBoxer Toolkit. It removes all the setup in your profile, you can then create a new one and Export to InnerSpace.

There is a guide for WoW setup, which is pretty basic, but covers all the instructions to get you started. http://www.isboxer.com/wiki/WoW:Quicker_Start_Guide.
The other WoW guide (yes there are two) does have a helpful section here, on keymaps vs repeater

Formations, are for standing around. You might need to setup some of the movement binds in ISBoxer for them to work if you really want them too. The ones to check are under Variable Keystrokes -> Move Left and Move Right. On a default setup these should be Q and E, but they might not be.

Thank you sir! Randomly landed on this post. The first guide is enough to have one started. The second is something I am gonna dig in now.
