Annoyances I can't figure out

I came back to World of Warcraft and multi-boxing using ISBoxer after being away for five years. Overall the multi-boxing is going smooth. There are three annoyances I just can't figure out and that I could use help with. I've been searching the forums and the FAQ and online and haven't found anything so I'd thought I'd ask. I don't remember having any of these issues when I multiboxed 5 years ago.

1. Input Broadcasting is deleting keys on the other windows. I'm using input broadcasting to log in on the WoW login screen and when I disable key maps and enable input broadcasting if I type any character (a, b, c, 1,2,3 etc) followed by a number, then on the other windows as soon as I type the number the letter infront of it is backspaced out. Example: typing abc123 results in ab3 on the other windows. On the main window I see abc123. I can't figure out why at all. I'm using the standard WoW setup wizard. I've checked the always on key maps but nothing seems to conflict. Again, this is with Key Maps Off, Input Broadcasting On.

2. If I chat in world of warcraft while having key maps accidentally on I seem to double the input if I type any numbers. If I type the number 8 for instance it becomes 88. If I type 80 out it becomes 8800. Yeah, I should probably disable keymaps when typing to prevent my other characters from using abilities but it gets really annoying to deal with. I'm not sure what is going on here.

3. Every time I launch WoW for the first time I have to disable the clickbar by doing alt + shift + ctrl + g to open InnerSpace. Despite hitting save, trying different save names, etc, it never persists. I also have to do it per character as it won't sync if I delete it. I can set up repeater regions fine, they save, they sync, etc. It gets frustrating either having the click bar in the way all the time or having to take the time to remove it each time I start. Also, is there a way to get repeater regions to save cross character sets? I'm running quite a few teams and they all slightly have different repeater regions so it is frustrating.

System specs:
Win 7, i4770k, nvidia gtx 780, updated drivers, ISBoxer Build #41 version 41.14.816.1, innerspace version 1.13 build 6089.

Thanks!

Re: Annoyances I can't figure out

This kind of stuff would be much easier to answer if you shared your profile, but most is guessable.

With typing in ingame chat, you have the same problem as everyone else. Disable the Key Maps when you type in chat. That's how it is done.

You probably have mapped keys and the Standard menu (the clickbar/green boxes) doing the same thing. This is obvious because you get double ups when typing in chat. You can get this if you run through the Quick Setup Wizard multiple times and select different options.

The green boxes (search for this, there are plenty of posts) are the Standard menu.
The Standard menu does not pass clicks to the other games but rather performs an Assist+Broadcast function which runs the macro "/assist {FTL}", then sends a keystroke of 1 to = to the game. Each button on the menu also has a hotkey assigned so you can trigger it via the keyboard too. These hotkeys are 1 to =. The assist macro which runs first will be sending mod+Backspace to the slave clients (because this is the command to trigger the /assist {FTL} macro), and WOW will be nice, ignore the mod at the login screen, honour the backspace and remove a character.

If you don't want the Standard menu, then you need to unassign the menu, or not select to have it during the quick setup wizard. Closing it and hitting Save in the in game Gui only removes it for the current session.
To unassign the menu, select your character set in the top left pane, in the lower left pane select Menus, on the right unhighlight Standard, Export to InnerSpace.
To not select it in the Quick Setup Wizard, change the options which create/assign it.

If you have created new mapped keys for the Assist+Broadcast of 1 to = and put them in a new Key Map (or the ALWAYS ON key map... read the name this key map does not turn off), or you have perhaps used the MMO-Pro option at some point and on other runs through the QSW selected standard and the invisible option, then they probably not all your Key Maps are being disabled when you hit the disable Key Maps toggle. FAQ#I added a new Key Map but the Key Maps toggle does not disable it.
If you have put mapped keys into the Always On key map, this is the wrong container. The Always On key map should hold stuff you never want disabled. This holds the things to disable/enable ISBoxer functions, like Key Maps, so you cant have this one disable because you could never turn them back on again. So, if you have put mapped keys in here, that shouldn't be here, remove them, and put them in one of the other Key Map containers.

Thanks. Here is my profile:

Ah, I did indeed run the quick setup wizard multiple times, once for each team. Thank you for giving me the right terms for the standard menu to search about. That gives me some pointers to investigate #2 and #3 but I'm still trying to figure out #1.

Thanks!

Re: Annoyances I can't figure out

1. is happening because you have an OLD configuration that was not created in the current ISBoxer, and then added your own stuff to it (in some order).
ISBoxer 41 renames some items since ISBoxer 38 (the source version of your OLD config).
To this end, the Toggles menu which runs the default Always On -> Activate Maps mapped key (hotkey SHIFT+ALT+M) does not disable the old version key maps called Control/FTL DPS Keys, Wow Key Bindings. Instead they are covered by the old version Control -> Activate Maps mapped key.

So, your issue with 1. is basically a variation of FAQ#I added a new Key Map but the Key Maps toggle does not disable it., AND I have the Standard menu AND some Mapped Keys (in the FTL DPS Keys key map) which do the same thing.

To fix this, the easiest solution will be to use File -> Clear, then run the Quick Setup Wizard, and use a nice clean configuration for your characters, rather than starting from someone elses old config you downloaded from somewhere.

If you really want to fix manually.
Delete the Key Maps General, Control, FTL DPS Keys, Wow Key Bindings
Delete Click Bars -> BroadCast, Formations
Delete Game Helpers -> World of Warcraft, Macro Sets, Quick Setup 38
Fix any stuff that complains when you Export to InnerSpace.

You could fix it in other ways too, but I suggest starting again as it will make things much easier.

Re: Annoyances I can't figure out

Great. Thank you! I started with an old configuration from when I last used ISBoxer but it wasn't working so I thought I had started a new one from scratch. I won't be able to try out those changes until the weekend.
