Game Crash on Launch, Tried "Everything"

Thus far, I have spent several hours alone trying to figure out what is wrong, and several more with MiRai, to no avail.

Here is my diagnostic without having WoW open when I attempt the initial launch: http://privatepaste.com/bd2b9b2418
and here again, after I manually open WoW through my launcher and then run the diagnostic: http://privatepaste.com/57c51a4976

Also, here is the crash box that appears:

Error #132 (0x85100084) Fatal Exception!
Program: C\World of Warcraft\WoW.exe
ProcessID: 2416
Exception: 0xC0000096 (PRIV_INSTRUCTION) at 0023:72BDE3EC

I have ensured that Inner Space is going to the correct directory after I moved WoW out of my Program Files; I've checked that I'm using DX9 to match my client, and I have completely deleted/removed my security program and any other potentially conflicting programs that I am aware of. I'm sure I've probably forgotten to include some details, but I've been at this for several hours and I'm going to go to bed and hope for a solution in the near future!

Thanks very much for your time and effort,
-Erradical

Re: Game Crash on Launch, Tried "Everything"

Really need the rest of the data from the WoW error box. The error #132 box should have additional technical details for you to paste me, maybe after pressing a button.

Otherwise, check the WoW folder for a sub-folder called Errors, which should contain a txt file and a dmp file corresponding to the time of the crash; e-mail me the two files for the crash, to lax@lavishsoft.com.

I sent the files from my Error folder, however there is no "More Info" button or anything like it in the crash box, for some reason.

Re: Game Crash on Launch, Tried "Everything"

Thanks

I've checked that I'm using DX9 to match my client

According to the crash info, WoW is definitely using DX11 and the crash is coming from DX11 startup. Switching to DX9 may actually work around the crash.

Your Character-specific Config.WTF has gxApi set to DX11. One way you can change to DX9 is to open your WoW/WTF folder, open each of the Config.WTF files for your team, and change the gxApi line to DX9. Another way is to go into the top left pane in ISBoxer, under Characters, and select each one; then for each one change the "Game Profile" drop-down box which is probably set to "World of Warcraft Default Profile" to "World of Warcraft DirectX 9". If you don't HAVE that profile, you can either use Add Game and point it at wow.exe and put "-d3d9" with no quotes in the Parameters box, then select the new Game and Game Profile for each Character, or edit your existing Game Profile http://isboxer.com/wiki/Game_Profile. (From the chat logs you may have tried this last thing, which is why I listed all of the other methods first.)

Re: Game Crash on Launch, Tried "Everything"

Hmm, both of my characters already match this: http://imgur.com/8YBDFW5
But I'll check/change it via the normal WoW.exe
http://imgur.com/z0hGMbS Both accounts match DX9 in-game as well.

And here's my inner space config: http://imgur.com/WLkic7y

Thus far I've done all three of your suggested ideas, and it still crashes. I'll email you another crash dmp and txt if you'd like.

The setting when launched without ISBoxer is not the same as when launched with ISBoxer. If you want to reset ISBoxer to use the non-ISBoxer settings, open up your WoW/WTF folder and delete the per-Character Config.WTF files; this will force ISBoxer to re-create them by copying the original Config.WTF with its current settings.

I see that your Game Profile shows DirectX 9, but again the crash log is very specifically indicating that it is loading DirectX 11.

Did you Export to Inner Space after setting this Game Profile?

Re: Game Crash on Launch, Tried "Everything"

This is an update, your solution via the chatroom worked, however, now that I have made a new team via the Quick Setup Wizard, I am encountering the same problem again.
My only issue is that I don't remember which file you told me to find my D3D11.dll file in, so that I could rename it. Renaming it worked before, so I'm hoping that will work again.
I'll email you the most recent txt and dmp files from the crash.

The only folder which contains any useful files/folders is going to be your Inner Space folder.
