SO,

Here is a question I have setup soem Video FX Output screen on my main character screen to control other ships in EvE Online from the Main Character screen. BUT when i dock up etc i want to turn these off..

If there a simple way to turn them on and off with a single key? I dont want to delete them just hide them when docked in the stations etc.

I've been looking for a hot key its driving me maaaadddddd! :)

New Video FX Action -> Hide. Enter the name of the VideoFX you want to hide, the target you want to hide it from, and a hotkey.

Hmm sounds interesting will have a play with it. perhaps binding the same hotkey for multiple FX Hides?

thanks for the pointer.

EDIT: Looked at the link, where are these settings i cannot find them in IS Boxer Toolkit? or do i have to do with in game with ISBoxer control panel?

Right click -> New Video FX Action in the toolkit just like any other Keystroke, Key Map, Menu, etc. action.

Alternatively you could just create a hotkey to remove all video FX and then reload your profile with another hotkey when you need them again.

If you didn't want to make a hotkey, you could also just open the control panel and under the VideoFX tab click the "Clear" button and then "load" your profile when you need them again although that's a very messy way to do things.

Edit: Better way to do it.

I tried to use Large Chickens instructions to set up a key to turn a videofx set on and off.
It works shutting it all off, but my problem is that the key to turn on turns everything off.
which doesnt make any sense to me since I clicked the button that says Load Video FX set named.
if that is selected, why is it turning the set off instead?
