Trion has already announced they won't be supporting addons for Rift.

They said they wont be at launch. But indicate that they might later on.

edit: I just noticed a long thread on an addon some guy made and the thread is not locked. looks like they do not support addons, but allow you to use then at your own risk? take a read and see what you think http://forums.riftgame.com/showthread.p ... Addon-Pack
