Tweaking for 10-man

The problem I am having is really resources. I have 10 accounts, but can't really play them all at once. I have only been able to get 1.5 fps on my main screen. I set the others to low rendering and dropped all of the individual setting sliders as low as I can. I also put my main screen on low normal. The only addon I have running is Imhothar's Bags so I can see where my items are on all accounts. I set the windows layout to round robin for processor usage. Any suggestions beyond the obvious?

Re: Tweaking for 10-man

Rift is a ressource hog. Imho you wont be able to run 10 clients on a quadcore cpu, you'll probably be able to make 3 - 5 clients run smoothly with minimum settings but 10 is out of reach with your hardware.

I'm running 5 clients on a 3930K@4Ghz overclock on low/medium settings (not low quality renderer)

Re: Tweaking for 10-man

In addition to what RSM72 said, you're also most likely running out of video RAM on your GPUs. 1GB isn't a whole lot these days and the best you could do with those is attempt to split the load of 10 clients between them; but even if it worked correctly, you'd still be hitting a bottleneck on the CPU.

You should be looking at this page for more info:

You guys rock. Thanks a lot for the advise. This gives me a good start on building a new rig.
