Re: Request Native Support for Logitech G510 Keyboard

Thanks, got it ready for you to try out. Right click IS and select Patcher, check "Download development (test) patches" then close and restart IS.

If it's plugged in, it will be detected at that time. Close Inner Space to update InputDevices.XML with the changes, so ISBoxer can read it (so you may need to restart ISBoxer too).

Thanks for getting this added so quickly lax.

I have been working on getting everything all configured. The G and M keys work great.

I will report back once I get my configuration complete.

Thanks again!!!

Re: Request Native Support for Logitech G510 Keyboard

Well it appears that native support for the G510 might not work. The "normal" keys seem to send a "G" key when released sending the command to the game (EverQuestII).

Example: Pressing the left alt key sends a G3 code when released.

I ran the buttontest script in the console and here are some of the results.

Left Alt key:
Button=G510-G3 position=TRUE
Button=Alt position=TRUE
Button=Alt position=TRUT
Button=G510-G3=FALSE
Button=Alt positon=FALSE
Button=Alt position=FALSE

Right Alt Key:
Button=G510-G7 position=TRUE
Button=Right Alt position=TRUE
Button=Alt position=TRUT
Button=G510-G7=FALSE
Button=Right Alt positon=FALSE
Button=Alt position=FALSE

C Key:
Button=G510-G10 position=TRUE
Button=G510-G111 position=TRUE
Button=C=TRUE
Button=G510-G10 position=FALSE
Button=G510-G111 position=FALSE
Button=C=FALSE

It appears to do this for every "normal" key pressed.

Re: Request Native Support for Logitech G510 Keyboard

Interesting, thanks for the info. I might have to order one after BlizzCon and take a look. I guess for now don't use the G510's G-keys for ISBoxer hotkeys; use the Logitech Profiler (run as Administrator) for the time being

Will the Logitech Profiler send commands to different windows like ISBoxer? I have the G510 also and would love to program the G keys through ISBoxer.

The Logitech program it's self will only send commands to the active window. But ISBoxer works great for that, you just need to program you "G-Key" macro commands and configure ISBoxer to send those commands to the correct window.

Re: Request Native Support for Logitech G510 Keyboard

The G-key macros using Logitech G-series key profiler doesn't seem to work for me, i specified it to send hotkeys (using the G1-G18 keys) to all w/o current window but it doesn't work and when i then changed the hotkeys to send to rk1 (rune keeper 1 window) it also doesn't work. What am i doing wrong? Using a G510.

You need to make sure the Logitech Profiler is running as Administrator, or it will not work when ISBoxer, Inner Space, any game launched by Inner Space, or any other software running as Administrator is the active window

Re: Request Native Support for Logitech G510 Keyboard

I ran it as administrator, when i press the G keys it just activate the skills on my main window (tank) and completely ignore my rune keeper windows even though i specified it to only to activate the hotkeys on the all w/o current windows (should just activate skills in rune keepers windows) in isboxer suite. Whats wrong now? Do i have to wait until native support is added for the G510 before i can box? Appreciate the help.

Edit: I tested my configurations with the normal default keyboard keys (a-z, 1-9 etc) and no problems detected. Can we please get an estimate when you'll add native support? Sorry for being impatient.
