[Help] Multibox PC?

Hello everyone,

Im about to buy a new PC so i can multibox without problems (currently got a really old pc). But i want to ask you for your input regarding my system. Im about to buy the following:

Intel Core i7 4770 Boxed
Asus Z87-C
MSI GeForce GTX 770 Gaming
Seagate Barracuda 7200.14 ST1000DM003, 1TB
Corsair Carbide 300R
Scythe Mugen 4 PCGH Edition
2x Crucial Ballistix BLS2CP4G3D1609DS1S00CEU (16 GB total)
XFX Pro 550W
Crucial M500 2,5" 240GB

Would above system work for multiboxing 4x diablo or 4x WoW / Wildstar?

Should i get the GTX 770 or R9 280x/290x ? Is that videocard good enough for multiboxing 4 times?

Would love to hear your input! :)

Note: My main screen will be on my first screen. The slaves (3 other copies) will be on my second screen.
Greetings,
Shieldz

Re: [Help] Multibox PC?

Hi,

I bought OC GTX760 version for 4x Diablo III, but very often GPU was utilized with 100%.
After a month try OC little bit more and try different setting I replace it with OC GTX780 and now I haven't problems.
Now is't even quiet and and GPU is utilized at 80-90%. I play with one 32" monitor and each client have resolution 1920x1200.
Main slot I setup with little more details (shadows, better textures etc.).

Re: [Help] Multibox PC?

I recently built a similar system (same CPU, chipset, etc) but with a EVGA 780 TI Classified, I found that WildStar is still GPU bound running 5 clients. The CPU is OC'd @ 4.4Ghz and the GPU @ ~1250Mhz.

I have 4 of the clients on the Ultra-Low settings and the 5th on medium, all are at 1920x1200. The 4 background clients are fine at 30FPS but the 5th on medium is only getting ~35FPS standing around. The CPU is at about 90% and the GPU is near 100%.

I haven't had much time to optimize my settings but I'm thinking it will be playable as is. Plus there are still driver+game optimization to come before and after launch.
