Re: bad computer?
I would recommend an i7 2600K processor.
Or an i5 2500K.
The Intel processors are far and away better than AMD in the last four or five years.
It's not even close, in power and performance.
The more cores AMD should be better than what you're using currently.
But the Intel will blow the new AMD option away.

They have only 4 cores! And they are better then a 6 or 8 core CPU from amd?
Yep. More cores doesn't mean more/better performance.

You can run 5 game clients much smoother, assuming you use the exact same video settings. If you don't want your current CPU to be at
or above 90% usage you need to turn down your video settings. Certain settings affect your CPU much more than others.
Re: bad computer?
There was a study, about a year ago.
The i3 system, which was not intended as a gaming system, benchmarked far ahead of the top AMD system for Warcraft.
If you're not going to be doing much besides Warcraft, the i5 2500K is about $100 cheaper than the i7 2600K.
But the i7 is a much better processor, if $100 won't break the bank.
Either will blow away (not even remotely close) anything AMD currently has available.

Intel is able to accomplish, what AMD cannot, in four cores as opposed to 6 or 8 (especially in the realm of gaming).
I can apply your way of thinking to:
I have a big motor in my car, therefore, I will go faster than any car with a smaller motor.
Obviously, that's untrue.
