Hello everyone, a little help

These are my specs:

Graphics Card : Geforce GTX 660 Ti
CPU : Intel i7 3.07 Ghz
Motherboard : Sabertooth x58
Memory : 16 GB total Venegeance Sticks
Monitors : 1 LG / 1 ASUS - 30 inch screen each
Water Cooling System : Corsair
Power Supply : GS800W Corsair
Hard Drive : 1 Terabyte Hp 1260t
Tower: Corsair

Are these specs able to run 5 boxes efficiently? I ran 4 slaves on my second monitor and 1 master on my main monitor. (In that order)

With 5 boxes running my CPU was at a constant 80% with a bit of delay...

The memory was not an issue.

All the characters (5) settings are set too really low in-game.

I'm very new to this multiboxing so I'm just winging it lol.

Any suggestions/thoughts?

Re: Hello everyone, a little help

5 of what game? If you're playing WoW, one thing to check is your WoW Addons. Some of them cause performance problems, so you can try shutting them down to see if that helps. I've heard recent reports of performance issues with Jamba's Item Use bar for example, but there are many others...

Also, every single post like this one has a pretty simple answer for starters: HOWTO: Tweak your framerate

The "Identifying framerate bottlenecks" section includes a link to Open Hardware Monitor and instructions for getting performance data. It will help to provide that data if you need additional help

Welcome to multiboxing RIFT... Where the game engine is not optimized and the CPU/GPU usage can act very odd, to say the least; but then again, I'm sure it's not Trion's job to make sure that multiple clients run flawlessly.

Re: Hello everyone, a little help

With similar hardware to that I was only able to run my main client on about medium settings and all the slaves had to have everything on absolute minimum, including using the low-quality renderer. As MiRai mentioned, RIFT is notorious for being poorly optimised and a CPU hog while at the same time providing low FPS.
