Is Razer Naga mouse natively supported yet?

If not, can I help run that control program you have that tests each button and reports back with the code?

I'm having some small issues and if I could map my naga keys directly, I believe it would eradicate them.

I own 2 Razer Nagas. Native support for the Naga is available in the next generation software, but unfortunately not in IS1+ISBoxer. Like many other mice and even keyboards, it is a different kind of beast. You can run the button tester if you like, the buttons wont show up. :)

No, I trust ya. I wasn't sure if you were going to eventually add it natively, but I see now that it can't be added natively until JMB.

So do you just configure hotkeys for all your razer buttons with the razer profiler? And then set ISboxer to do whatever you need based on those hotkeys?

And what exact keys do you set your razer buttons to? Like CTRL+Shift+1 thru 12 or something?

I'm just looking for a good strategy or to see how someone else runs their configs. Thanks.

Yes, to all questions. The reason you want to set your Razer buttons to something obscure is because this leaves room for the
non-obscure keybindings that you could possibly use on your own.

For example... I can easily press '4' with my finger as opposed to pressing CTRL+SHIFT+0. No reason to set the Razer buttons
to '4' when I already have such easy access to it.

Re: Is Razer Naga mouse natively supported yet?

Personally, my Naga is configured 100% default and I don't even run the Naga configuration software. I don't usually broadcast my 1 through = buttons, since I use my Logitech G13 for all of my combat buttons. I use the Naga buttons to specifically perform abilities on my tank without having to move my hand off of either the mouse or the G13. Comes in pretty handy.

If I was using FTL DPS Keys for 1 through =, I would use the Naga software to map the buttons to obscure key combos, as MiRai described.

Got it, makes sense. Thanks both of you for your replies.

Lax what do you mean by "next generation software," is that a reference to Joe multiboxer or a new project (Joe has been very quiet so I was worried something had happened to him, like real life or other time limiting factors...). Thanks

I am Joe the Multiboxer! ;) Joe Multiboxer (the software) has been getting pushed back due to real life circumstances. Small children take up a lot of time! They recently started pre-school though so I have been doing some catch-up.

Lax - Hehe, I knew you were Joe, I figured the little guy in the picture was taking up time, they are cute and he may kill me in battlegrounds, but they are demanding!
