[STO] STO launcher silently crashing on start since 8/26

Hello all,

STO had an emergency maintenance last night. Since it came back up I can log in fine outside of isboxer (normal play), but when I try to start my team profile with isboxer, the launcher exits silently without even displaying on the screen.

Anyone else seeing this?

Your PC appears to be a mine field.

Here's a few things I would try shutting down, these are strictly from things loading within the game:
32. C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\gameoverlayrenderer.dll -- are you loading this through steam? ..
42. C:\Windows\system32\LavasoftTcpService.dll
45. C:\Program Files (x86)\SlySoft\AnyDVD\ADvdDiscHlp1.dll
46. C:\Program Files (x86)\Moo0\WindowMenuPlus 1.20\WindowMenuPlusDll.dll
85. C:\Program Files\UltraMon\RTSUltraMonHookX32.dll

I exited all those modules, and ensured steam is not running. Same thing. See http://privatepaste.com/a4317afcef

Just to get a quick confirmation, are you able to load and run the current version of STO yourself through isboxer?

I'll have to install it to even answer that. Typically confirmation would come from another STO player first, and since so far you're the only one reporting it this is why we start here

On a hunch I tried uninstalling the Lavasoft Web Companion that I recently installed to remove Trovi (http://www.lavasoft.com/mylavasoft/comp ... ovi-search) .. lo and behold, STO is now working fine from isboxer.
