Multiboxing looks AWESOME.......got some questions about it.

Kind of want to get an idea of how much it really costs to Multibox properly, so how much would a solid multiboxing set-up cost me? By solid I mean able to run at least 6 clients at once with steady FPS on maxed out settings while in the middle of the worst of the worst clusterfucks of spell and ability animations. I'm assuming it takes a pretty high end set-up to acheive this.

It seems like most mutliboxing is done on desktops. Being someone who travels around for work quite a lot, I'm wondering if Multiboxing is possible as described above, but on a laptop rather than a desktop? Is it possible to Multibox with only one client visible? (to explain it better, having 6 clients open, but all of them are fullscreen window mode and stacked on top of one another on a 15" laptop screen so that you can only see one window. Is it possible to broadcast mouse+keys to the other windows like this even though they are not visible?)

You don't mention what game(s) you intend to play, so this is general advice.

I suspect your expectations are unrealistic. Most modern games are designed to tax a high-spec PC even running only a single client when everything is turned on. Expecting to be able to do that with 6 clients running, unlikely. Even when I 6-box EQ (14 years old) on a 6-core i7-3930K with a 4GB 680 GPU I need to turn stuff down and limit my framerate to get decent, steady performance. Generally most people will run their lead character on higher settings and their other characters on much lower settings. ISBoxer will handle the different version of the settings files required to do this. The above applies even more to a laptop, even a "gaming" laptop.

Yes, you can set things up so you can only see a single client. Choose the Stacked Full Screen Window Layout. Yes, you can broadcast to background windows. Again, your choice of game will affect whether this is the best way to set things up.

TL;DR Everything you want to do is possible, just not at highest quality settings.
