I just want them to move as one. Too simple?

Hi all, i'm very new to boxing and my main motivation is to destroy things 4 or 5 times faster. I started my team and for the life of me can't get them to move as one. To be clear I want to hit "W" and have them all move forward together so it would look like only one character was there but actually 5 would be.

I started 4 in the same spot, same camera but they all move a little out of whack when broadcasting and end up stuck on walls etc.

Is this just so simple that i'm the only one with this issue?

If you want to be in a constant broadcasting mode, you're going to run in to a ton of problems.

The most common way of moving toons is through follow. One toon is set as the master and the rest of the toons are set to follow, so wherever you move your master toon, the rest will cruise right along with it. While they won't look like they're standing directly on top of eachother on the screen, they're pretty close.

You can't get them to move as one.

What makes this not simple is that you cannot get them all standing on the exact same point in the world, and facing exactly the same direction (therefore moving in exactly the same direction), let alone have it stay synchronized for any reasonable amount of time. What happens if you get feared? Knockback? Stun? Daze? Any other movement related effect, and so on. I agree that the idea that you might be able to move as one is a simple idea. So is the idea that you might be able to split an atom. One of those has been done. :)

Therefore, you need to use the auto-follow feature that is built into the game, which is both reliable* and simple. ISBoxer has a few diferent ways of helping you with auto-follow. I'd recommend following the Quick Start Guide: http://isboxer.com/wiki/WoW:Quick_Start_Guide (wow version)

* For the most part. Phasing will break auto-follow, and so will channeling spells and melee.

Thank you both immensely. Gonna save a whole lot of frustration trying and failing. Follow it is!!!
