[Wildstar] Follower Not Attacking When Leader Attacks

Ok, I followed Joe's tutorial on how to set up ISBoxer for Wildstar on YouTube and everything is working fine except the toon following will not attack when the leader attacks. I have the overlay both set up near perfectly over their ability bars, but I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong or if I missed something in the tutorial. Any thoughts?

I've not played WildStar so I can't be certain, but don't you have to assist (ALT+A) before your followers can attack in that game?

No, I figured it out. I changed the default keybinding in-game and I realized that ISBoxer had it's own keymapping that followed the default. Once I put the game back to the default keybindings it started to work fine. Although I'm not sure how to change the ISBoxer keymapping so I can have my custom in-game keybindings.

Thanks for the info. Another question: Is it possible to have the follower follow a bit closer to line up telegraphs a bit so initial attacks land at the same time? Also, how do I go back and change the IS Boxer default for assist and follow?

Also, also...I'm not sure why it is...but when I hit the Alt+A or Alt+F it puts my follower in chat and makes it so stuff is being typed and unable to perform abilities. I have to hit Alt F twice for the follower to actually follow and Alt A twice for the follower to pick up my leader's target...

No, The game client (and your latency) affects the follow distance.

Which default? If you're asking about ALT+F and ALT+A then firescue17's link should have explained how to change Hotkeys. If you're asking about the in-game key bindings that are set in ISBoxer, then they're under Variable Keystrokes.

Unless something has changed with how the game handles input from ISBoxer, then it should only require a single press (assuming you're not spamming a bunch of other things on your keyboard at the time you're trying to assist or follow).

You could also try moving the third action of each Mapped Key into its own step:

1) Copy the action to the clipboard
2) Delete it from Step 1
3) Right-click on Steps and create a second Step
4) Paste the copied action into that Step
5) Set the Mapped Key to execute on "pressed or released"

Re: [Wildstar] Follower Not Attacking When Leader Attacks

Thanks again for the info. I'm still working on the Alt A/F issue. Right now I'm having problems with putting in my password. I turned key mapping off as I noticed that was creating one issue I was having (it was creating multi presses and messing up the password). So now, no multi presses, but it still won't take the password. I opened up another client outside of ISBoxer/Innerspace and it takes just fine. I'm positive I'm putting in my password using ISBoxer...

The problem is most likely this:

http://isboxer.com/wiki/FAQ#I_added_a_n ... able_it.3F

But to be honest, if you don't have the basic setup working then you probably shouldn't be creating new Key Maps (assuming that's the issue). Unless you've implemented some custom setup, then your best bet is to clear your profile (File > Clear) and start fresh.

Yup, I started fresh and got my issues cleared. I'm currently rolling two Spellslingers and don't have any major issues at the moment. However, when I attack something, my follower tends to run to the target while attacking...to the point where she's stacking on it. I don't have the combat option "move to target" selected so I don't know why this happens. Even if it were checked, she should only be moving to the target until she's in range to hit it. Any ideas?
