DirectX issues

Hey, I was wondering if any of ya'll would be able to help me out here.. My laptop's been having issues recently, so last night I went ahead and reformatted it, reinstalled WoW, reinstalled ISboxer, etc. Well, I'm having an issue I never had before- DirectX, which ISboxer tells me must be downloaded before using ISboxer, isn't installing correctly. The link brings me to http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download ... aspx?id=35, I hit download, it downloads, I hit install, and this message pops up:

A cabinet file necessary for installation cannot be trusted. Please verify the Crpytographic Services are enabled and the cabinet file certificate is valid.

At that point it says installation failed and I have no choice but to hit finish. I've tried three times, each with the same result.

I know this isn't DIRECTLY linked to the ISboxer program but if you have any idea on how to resolve this issue, my eternal gratitude would be boundless.. Thanks in advance!

Re: DirectX issues

I can't say I know the fix for this, but Google does have some answers if you copy and paste the error into it. Lax may also have some insight to this, but I don't know.

Re: DirectX issues

no problem mate, thanks for the response :)

I did a bit of digging on the interwebs and found a link to the full version(from my limited understanding, it seems that other people who had my issue were downloading an incomplete version, which may be what happened here). The link is as follows:

http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download ... x?id=19743

Hopefully nobody else runs into this problem, but if so the directx download at the above link worked for me. :)
