Issue with not having sound from active and inactive window

Hi there,
I've been using ISBoxser for almost a year now and everything worked fine. I did configure it at the beginning and never touched the ISBoxer Toolkit again, because everything worked fine with Lord of the Rings Online.

But yesterday I just wanted to see, if there have been made some big changes and opened the toolbox. I messed up some things so I just started from the beginning and ran into 2 problems:

1. I activated the checkbox "Mute background game Window audio and un-Mute foreground window audio"

- this works as expected, but after unchecking it again, there was no sound anymore, not in the foreground window neither in the background window - if I check it again, I hear the sound from the foreground window. But I really would like to have the option, to hear it from both windows. So what can I do?

2. I had a working window layout - with 2 Monitors, the main display with a 1920x1200 resolution, the second one with 1920x1080. Scaling between those two resolutions worked like a charme, when I was switching the active window. Now scaling still works, but the picture at the smaller monitor looks really wierd

. That wasn't an issue since yesterday. Don't know what I can try anymore.

Thanks for your suggestions. And sorry for my bad english.

Right-click on the speaker in your system tray, select Volume Mixer, and un-mute the game client when it's running through Inner Space.

Anytime a window gets scaled down the text is never guaranteed to display correctly. You said you had it working before, so I guess you can share your profile for someone to take a look at.

Re: Issue with not having sound from active and inactive window

In general, if you want text to look good while boxing, I'd take a look at a full-screen stacked option.

Every window is rendered at the full screen size.
And then you use Video FX (sources and viewers) to see the important parts from the other displays.

Rather than picture in picture (or more accurately, picture beside/beneath/above) you have main screen and viewers of important information.
If you have two monitors, you could easily have mini-maps and hot keys for all of your windows displayed on the other screen.
Since a chat window is not scaled down, it's going to be very legible (as legible as the one on the main screen).

Instead of switching from one window to another.
And having the small window (beside/beneath/above) swap with the larger/main window...
The switch hot key determines which window is displayed at full size on the main screen (with the others also rendered there, but beneath/hidden-by the currently active/top window).
