This may not pertain to ISBOX so much as Innerspace so I apologize for any incorrect posting location.
Recently ISBOX changed the default handling method of EVE ONLINE's virtual files. It is a great new way but... In virtualizing separate folders for each character's settings, it made a certain tool for cloning your settings not work (GarpaUI). Someone mentioned this in a thread and I made a reply post Seen Here suggesting the use of XCOPY.exe to duplicate EVE character settings.
This got me thinking...
So I began tinkering. I looked into the pre-startup options of Innerspace to run the batch file I made but with no luck. I tried giving the batch files a Windows shortcut key and having ISBOX perform that as a mapped key when the character set was loaded; no luck either.
The Question: Is there a way that Innerspace / ISBOX can launch a batch file I made before launching the character set? I know you can run exe files from pre-startup but perhaps bat is not a recognized execution? Maybe passing it a CMD.exe with the batch file as argument or making individual entries of xcopy.exe for each file I want to duplicate?
The Feature Idea: ISBOX could have a clone settings wizard, either by generating and running an xcopy batch file itself, or by directly duplicating the settings within ISBOX. The Step by Step wizard would first ask you to Select your master character (the one with the settings you wish to clone), then select from your list of characters which ones to clone the settings to. This would allow cloning all their DPS character settings but not their tank's settings. It would handle any alterations to the files (such as embedded character name changes, variables, etc). The wizard could then either put a shortcut on the desktop you can manually click when needed or automatically perform this each time the game / team is launched.

- Xcopy works not just for EVE's files, but ANY files. This means it can potentially duplicate/clone any character's files for almost any game.
- It would be nice if before launching my team, ISBOX had the optional feature of cloning all their settings to eliminate problems I may face later in desynced hotkeys / window positions.
