Install probs - innerspace patch looping

Hi,

I've got some trouble here. A couple of months ago I installed Innerspace and set it all up for WoW. Now with D3 I wanted to fire it up again.. here's a short vid I made showing you a bit about what's going on: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3g-lSAEtbME - as you can see the innerspace patcher is just looping, fetching one file over and over until I kill it from the system tray, and after that I make sure I uncheck Read Only for installed files. Also, the programs aren't installed in Program Files (which could cause some read/write probs). I'm also on administrator account and UAC is set to Never Notify.. I've also made sure to try right clicking and running as administrator.

Not sure what else to say. Any suggestions? If you need me to check something I'll do it.

There's a few things you can try...

1. Try rebooting. This could clear up a lock on the InnerSpace.exe file that is preventing it from being updated (though if this were the issue, the patcher should actually complain that it can't output the file)
2. Try running the ISBoxer installer to reset the files
3. Try running the InnerSpace.exe in the x64 folder instead of the base folder (maybe you already tried this)

If all else fails I can put up a zip in the archives for you to download...

Actually I had already tried all those things. Rebooted several times, reinstalled several times on 2 different locations.. ran innerspace.exe from the x64 folder too. So, it seems we're a bit stuck unless you have any other ideas. Perhaps that .zip you mentioned would help?

I would warn you though that if it keeps looping the way you show in the video, you may actually have a virus that is changing the file after it installs. There's no indication that it couldn't output InnerSpace.exe or otherwise failed to do what it's supposed to do, so this is actually my best guess at this time.
