Multiboxing Runescape?

Hey guys,
I have been looking around and I have found it extremely hard to see if multiboxing a javascript game is possible. It usually is a browsergame but it can be played in a few clients too. Now what I did was I used the client as the game to be opened but I found out it does only open once even though I do have 2 accounts and it should open twice. Does anybody know how this could happen? Hopefully somebody can help me out because at this very moment I'm pretty mindstruck.

Friendly Greetings,

Re: Multiboxing Runescape?

ISBoxer will only work with DirectX or OpenGL game clients. It will not run multiple instances of your browser or handle multiple tabs within your browser. I don't know anything about Runescape in particular to tell you whether it would work with IS, but you are of course welcome to try...

Re: Multiboxing Runescape?

Hey guys,
It's been a while again and indeed I found out that running multiple chrome browsers will not work. (Pretty much as I expected but I just had to give it a try, haha) But right now I came up with another idea: Virtual PCs. But since my trial has run out I just have to ask some basic questions to give me an idea it my thoughts are worth a try before buying something which will later turn out to be useless.

My question is: if rather than running multiple chrome browsers I let ISBoxer run multiple virtual PCs will ISBoxer then be able to control all mouses/keyboards? (Yes I am aware that this will add-up alot to the RAM/CPU used but at this very moment I believe it's the only option) Because if that's the case I could just run multiple virtual machines and setup the game manually on every virtual pc and copy the mouse/keyboard once everything is setup as the game has pretty basic control. (Just right/left mouse clisk for moves/actions and the arrows are only used for camera movement.) Does anyone have experience with this?

And if that would not be possible I might have another idea: Creating a client that opens with DirectX or OpenGL which simply runs the game within that. (I do not have any scripting experience but I have a friend who might be able to do this so don't worry I won't be spamming around these forums with questions about this.)

Or might any of you have another idea to run a browser-java game. Any insights are apreciated! :)

Thanks alot in advance!

Greetings,
ForcaNL
