new, having problems

Here is what it says on the [WoW] Quick Start Guide :

Well, that is not the case for me. I have dropped down from 5 to 2 windows to solve this problem. I have a pally ( main ) and a mage on the 2nd screen. I have binded arcane missles to #1. I run up and target a mob on my pally. Hit #1 and nothing happens. No errors, no visual sign of the key being pressed. The keys are not being passed to the other windows.

Any ideas?

Check to see if you have your Key Maps activated. Use (Shift+Alt+M) to toggle the status.

There's a lot more to the guide than that line Continue with the guide through the Logging in and Beginning gameplay sections, and it goes over the common things that might help you

ended up being a keyboard issue. I would press the number 1 and the letter B was being sent. I have a Razer kb and the profile go changed somehow. I have that problems fixed now.
