WoW- this is completely different

I can't seem to find a sticky covering what I need, so I'll post what I'm sure is a previously covered issue here. I've been multiboxing already for over a year, I used only Keyclone and Jamba. I have a 5 team of 3 hunters, prot pally, and resto shammy, I can solo 5 mans heroics, all the old world instances, etc etc, I had everything set up with /follow macros and /assist and /focus macros, pressing 0-9 on my numeric keypad was set up to do a certain thing on each toon, firing a chimera shot on the hunters would be shield of righteousness on the tank, and chain heal tank on the shammy. After combat I would press my follow key, etc etc, IWT key to loot quest items on all 5 toons and so on, frequently pressing the set camera key to keep all the hunters pointing in the same way, /assist pally to hopefully shoot his target, didn't work every time tho. The inherent flaws with this system were in PVP when the master died I didn't have anything set up for changing masters, I kept punching buttons and would switch to a different hunter, but basically I was screwed until I could get the master back up, also I was having to volley individually on each hunter screen. Isboxer has the ability to change follow targets instantly and automatically upon window switch, this is incredible, also it will mouse broadcast the volley to all 3 hunters simultaneously, those two factors caused me to buy Isboxer today.

Unfortunately now I am totally lost. I don't need Keyclone anymore, but I do not understand at all this Keymap/Repeater thing. Repeater seems to be the closest thing to what I used to do, it will do the triple volley thing also with mouse broadcasting, VERY cool. But when I click to move one toon it clicks to move all toons as if I was actively controlling all 5, when I just want them to follow, so they just all run off in different directions, lolol... so when I turn off Repeater and use Keymap for following with the Alt-F command, they all follow, but then all the mouse broadcasting and indeed any combat abilities at all are gone, I only seem to have follow, only the toon I'm controlling will mount up, etc etc. I just have no idea what I'm doing, this is like starting from the ground up all over again. I guess if anyone has any comments/tips on where to get started, that'd be great.

I think the problem is that you're looking for stickies on the forums, when there's a nice section of Guides on isboxer.com ;)

For starters, if you haven't gone through the WoW Quick Start Guide yet, read through that: http://isboxer.com/index.php/guides/69-wow-guide-quick-start
There's also a Keyclone conversion guide: http://www.lavishsoft.com/downloads/mods/keyclone%20refugees.pdf

And then for a very detailed guide covering lots of different things with walkthroughs, check out Ualaa's guide: http://isboxer.com/index.php/guides/9-wow-ualaa-isboxer-guide

Ok the short answer to my question, from what I can tell so far, is you must set up each keybind you ever use on all 5 toons as a keymap in the Toolkit, done properly Repeater isn't really necessary except for group AOE which can be included in the keymap so I can't see much reason for turning on Repeater at all.

The preferred method is with Key Maps, yes. The "Many New Mapped Keys" feature can help you create all of them in a few seconds if you've got the keys configured in the game.

Repeater is best used turned on temporarily in rare cases where you need everything you do exactly repeated on all of the windows. Like entering your password, or if you wanted to type the same thing in a chat box, configure an addon identically on all windows, select Talents, select a taxi or click through NPC dialogs (taxi and quest dialogs can also be done with Jamba), things like that. Or things you only do once in a while that aren't worth key mapping, like some hour long group buffs. It's not recommended to leave it on all the time for general use (including combat)
