IS crashing when I attempt to load a character set

I took yesterday off and today when I went to log in I am crashing every time I attempt to load a character set, any set. The auto notifier of the problem is crashing as well. So the printout is provided below. I do use MMO but it hasn't had a recent update and both played well two days ago. Anyone able to help?

Make sure EQ isn't in full screen mode, this crash happens when it is.

Something that some people have found to help is to set the game to "Force Windowed" in the IS game configuration. To get there, right click IS and select Configuration, click the Game Configuration tab, select the Game from the first drop-down, and then the Game Profile (as selected in ISBoxer) from the next drop-down. The check the "Force Windowed" box, click Apply and then you might never see this crash again

Lax, did as you suggested but still the crash notification window. Still won't let me send in the report either, get either a -100 or -115 error on the report. (((( And did as you suggested w/ changes to config. 0)

OK, after rebooting, chkdsk /f etc and nothing would work I downloaded from MS their DXSDK file and installed it. Right after I installed it I loaded IS and it took me to the servers. )) Don't know what, why or how but I'm online again. Thanx
