3 computers 1 monitor

I´m boxing with 3 computers and could only get the main computer to load wow. I finely got the linking to load all toons after many try`s - problem was FTL Modifiers was the same and it would not send the config or something to the other computers InnerSpace/Isboxer.

Everything seem to work ok now, but I don´t want them to load on 3 monitors only on 1 monitor, so I get the click switch - any where to read "a how to" ?

If not, how do i switch screen - I did try to set a hot key to switch to this character - but it only focus the toon not switching screen.

Re: 3 computers 1 monitor

I just paid for this pile of crap software. I have a similar problem to the above poster. Stupid FTL default crap is embedded in this software The link "also Launch with a another Char set bugs out due to FTL. There is no checkboxed that I'm seing to turn it off. The export message that pops up when an export fails is like directed someone to a needle in a hay stack. Thank you for sucking up 5 hours, and more to come.

I'm asking for probably one of the most basic setups in boxing. and it's becoming more complicated then programming one myself.

I just want to broadcast my keystrokes, and have a quick swap, as everything I do is controlled via macros and keybinds. I don't want any other features in this software. And if I do i'll work on it later.

My setup is 2 pcs, 2 monitors. keystrokes sent via both pcs2. Main pc has 2 wows, the other has 8 wows.

I hate going backwards in software. and this is a great example of that.

EDIT:

I can't beleive it. In the characters set under slots the names are in categories, there is a number for each, like another subtab or an index. This has all the info I needed. Hidding away in a tab that looked like a number.

Amazing how open but well hidden that was. I just wasted 5 hours on that....

Re: 3 computers 1 monitor

I read it perfectly. In fact, after figuring it out, you can see there is no details about my problem. It also mentions this setup is not trivial as you appear to know everything, including grammar.

It's a interface / comestic issue for me.

Learn how to spell btw.

Re: 3 computers 1 monitor

Can I get it to work if I add more wow game profiles and use netværk patch like:

\\LEFT-BOXING\Public\Game\World of Warcraft\wow.exe

Re: 3 computers 1 monitor

Network paths will not work with IS, and would probably perform pretty poorly if it did. You will need a copy of the game on each PC

What ??

I´m boxing with 3 computers and done it with keyclone for a long time - so yes I have the game on every one.

I have it working with ISBoxer too - only that I what to use 1 monitor insteed of 3 - so I get the fast click switch.

Re: 3 computers 1 monitor

You can't run them on separate PCs but have them on 1 monitor. I am working on this capability for new multiboxing software that is not yet available.

If you run it from a network path like \\LEFT-BOXING\Public\Game\World of Warcraft\wow.exe (which you can't do through Inner Space), all that is going to happen is the game is going to load on the PC you run it on, not LEFT-BOXING. It will load all of the files over the network instead of from your hard drive, so all you would be accomplishing is using a hard drive across the network, instead of the hard drive in your computer. The only difference is going to be that it loads a lot slower.

Strange, I've been able to easily and efficiently setup both single and dual computer setups with and without FTL configurations. You do realize you can just remove the FTL Keymap from your Character Set and eliminate the 'Stupid FTL default crap' as put it.

Maybe multi-boxing is just simply beyond your mental capacity ... maybe you should try for something a little less challenging, like Solitaire.
