Is it possible to run Java properly in Inner Space

I tried to run this .jar that loads Runescape, and that didn't work. It worked fine outside of Inner Space. I simply took java.exe and, for the paramater, I used "-jar <path to my jar>". That failed, so to see if Java worked in Inner Space, I used the Minecraft jar distributed by minecraft.net. I was able to load that in inner space (the window title was changed, and there was a fps counter and some other info placed by Inner Space. I can provide the jars I'm using, if that would help. I have my Runescape settings set to use OpenGL.

It is highly probably that they are using JNI to call native libraries under the hood and that is causing you trouble. This will most likely be for efficient opengl rendering. Or at least the way they used to do it when runescape was being made.

Not much you can do about that from the application side. It would require some innerspace help and I can't help with that. :(

But it would explain why one java app would work and the other would not.

Answer: Minecraft has crappy graphics. ;)
