Space bar wackiness

I had everything working great, then suddenly my space bar is active in the opposite window than the one that has focus. It is only the space bar; everything else is working fine. Any ideas what is causing this and how to fix it? I don't think I changed anything except trying to get rid of the standard clickbar and I did export to innerspace.

Edit: Looks like I did something to key maps? If I turn off key mapping it works fine. However, it was working okay with key mapping on earlier today.

Re: Space bar wackiness

To answer this we'll probably need to see your ISBoxer configuration.

Re: Space bar wackiness

This is caused by the Mapped Key called Others Jump which is in the Non-combat Key Map. You have changed it so that when you press Space it sends Space (which is the Variable Keystroke for <Jump>) to all the other game windows but not the current window. The default Hotkey for that Mapped Key is Ctrl+Space precisely to avoid this very issue.

There are a couple of ways to fix this:

1) Change the Hotkey for the Other Jump Mapped Key to something else. I'd suggest Ctrl+Space.
2) Turn off Key Maps (Shift+Alt+M) when you wish to use the space bar normally. Turn them on again the same way.
3) If you actually meant to send Space to all your game windows (not just the non-active ones), change the Target of the single Action in the Jump Mapped Key to "Window:All w/ Current", so that the Action reads "<Jump> -> all".

Re: Space bar wackiness

Thank you for the help. I had set that when I first started using ISB a while back. I'm not sure why it just suddenly started working in the middle of yesterday, but now I understand better how that works. Fixed!
