Toon stops following my main in Dgs and combat

Hey all:) I am multi-boxing on WoW, and have been encountering a problem where my following toon will stop following in combat, especially dgs. This requires me to constantly switch between screens on my computer in order to reacquire the toon to follow my main. I wonder if this is a frequently seen issue and if there is a solution. I would appreciate any help or guidance.

You can hit Alt+F to make them follow again.
