GW2 single comp and 2 accounts

I have purchased 2 GW2 accounts and I want to run them on the same computer at the same time. I want this for a role play perspective, not for PvE/PvP.

Here is what I did:

1. Ensured I had the latest version and latest build.

2. Made a second folder and copied all the GW2 files into it. (So I have two seperate GW2 folders with identical data in them).

3. Added both games to innerspace using Add game and assigned a character to each account.

4. Ran the setup wizard for both accounts and for each:
a. Selected GW2 from the drop down menu (there were no GW2 specific items available).
b. Selected the default profile for each.

5. Entered ISBoxer Suite/Character/<character name>/Innerspace launch Information I selected the GW2 account and profile associated with that character.

6. Under Virtual Files, I r clicked and opened virtual file wizard creating a local.dat for each account.

I go in and select the profile and the first instance of GW2 pops right up....but then when I click the second instance of GW2...nada.

You should not be selecting GW2 Default Profile from the Inner Space menu. You picked it in ISBoxer because ISBoxer needs to launch it for you. You should be launching your Character Set you made in ISBoxer.

So instead of that, the end of your post SHOULD read..

7. Under File I selected "Export all to Inner Space"
8. In the Inner Space menu under "ISBoxer Character Sets" I selected the team I made in ISBoxer


Also, your step 6 should not be necessary as the first drop-down box in ISBoxer does include Guild Wars 2 and should automatically do what the Virtual File Wizard does...

Ok...new request, now that I have both running at the same time. <ya I am greedy>


What do I need to do with the window setting, so that both will run full screen simultaneously? (I plan to tab between screens as needed.) I have tried all of them and one says if I press CTRL+ALT+2, I can get to the second screen, but that is not working. All the rest are split screens.

In your window layout, you can use 'Full screen stacked' or a 'Region based' option.

Full Screen stacked, has each game at full resolution and on top of each other.
So you're viewing one client at a time.

You can also make a DX Nothing window, which is blank initially.
Then set up video feeds, to show select portions of the windows within the DX Nothing region.
