ISBoxer is reshuffling slots on a relaunch when clients fail

I've had this problem in the past, it was fixed, but it has resurfaced. When one or more LOTRO clients fails to launch properly, and I relaunch the charatcer set, the characters that launched properly get squeezed into the first x slots, effectively messing up any slot specific ordering. For example, I just had slots 1, 3, and 6 currently active, and when I relaunched, it squeezed those three into slots 1, 2, and 3. Whats worse, is when this happened the other day when I was missing slot 1, it overwrote my virtual files such that my slot 1 no longer had a high draw distance, and its audio was turned off.

Hi ShadowKntSDS,

Did you ever get this solved?

I have now run into the same issue last with RIFT.

I had my clients setup and working and now some are moved to other slots and it has messed up my FTL, repeater regions, pretty much everything.
I am going to nuke my setup and redo from scratch, methinks. :(

Slot numbers are tied directly to the Inner Space session numbers. If this happens to you, then it sounds like your Slot numbers are not matching your IS session numbers/names. This could happen if, for example, the game launches an additional process that Inner Space isn't filtering out. That's not always the game's fault, other programs can do it too -- people using Creative's ALchemy software for their sound card previously had similar issues.

If/when this happens, relevant information should be available in the main Inner Space Console: http://isboxer.com/wiki/Console. In the top screenshot in that page, at the bottom of the Console, it shows "Session launched (is2): " followed by the program that occupies is2. is2 is supposed to correspond to Slot 2. When a game's Launcher is launched, it should be is20 or higher. is1 through is19 should ONLY ever be your game windows. So... if this happens again, observe the output in the Console, and paste me the relevant contents. This should help me identify and correct the problem. Thanks :)

Thanks lax!

I was at work when I posted, however, I will grab the info tonight as it seems to be a persistent problem.

The slots do match the character names assigned to them and I didn't realize until I tried to setup video feeds and repeater regions.

Hi lax,

I believe I may have fixed my issue.

After looking at the console, it was loading the proper sessions, the character set had them in the right order, and my regions also listed them correctly.
I had entered the account info for each character and that to was correct.

However, after watching them load I noticed the email addresses being auto-populated were wrong, so I retyped them in the client window and now everything ( so far ) is working as i would expect it.
