Characters aren't facing the target

It's cool that when I'm triple boxing the characters follow my main. But, when the followers are facing my main and not the target that's not so great. How do I make the other two guys move sideways when I press the e and q keys?

Also when I jump and turn in the air the other two characters don't jump and turn in the air.

Re: Characters aren't facing the target

I'll assume you're playing World of Warcraft...
Take a look at the mapped key, "Others Jump".

It sends the keystroke "space", to Window: All w/o (without) Current.

If you want to send "q" or "e" to the slaves but not the main you can copy and edit the above mapped key.
Or you could create a new one.
You will need to check, hold keystrokes while the key is held.
That will get you slave independent movement; in my case I use the arrow keys for slaves only and the WASD keys for the main.

If you have Click to Move (CTM) enabled, in Interface Options > Mouse Options...
And press an Interact With Target (IWT) keybind (in Keybinds > Targeting Functions), that will have those characters move towards the target.
I'm not sure if they'll change their facing while in the air.
You could set the mapped key up as two steps.
With each executed on Press or Release.
The press would be IWT to the accounts you care about.
And on release you could send any movement key to those accounts (or a command to follow the main), which could break the movement towards the target from the IWT key.

I use something similar to regroup after a fear bomb.
While the key is held, the toons IWT to whatever the main is targeting.
And then they down arrow (slight move backwards) to break that movement, when they're close to the target.
You could use something similar, just to ensure your characters are correctly facing the target.
You can IWT/CTM to any friendly NPC that has an interactive menu, such as a Flight Master, Inn Keeper, Merchant or Quest Giver.
You can also IWT/CTM to any hostile NPC that can be melee attacked.
