ISBoxer Startup Error

Hi all,

I am getting the following error when starting ISBoxer (it seemed to have started after my machine crashed one day while ISBoxer was running):

In addition, ISBoxer seems to no longer recognize my G13 (e.g. it does not give me the G13 buttons in the HotKey | Key dropdown). Is there a way to fix this without tossing everything and re-installing IXBoxer?

Thanks,
sfdd

Re: ISBoxer Startup Error

Note: see Lax's post below if you are experiencing the same problem as the OP.

You can repair an ISBoxer installation by re-installing. There is a download link on this page. Re-installing will not overwrite your settings.

Information about the using Logitech devices and the G13 can be found in the wiki. Be aware that not every drop down will show the G13 keys, only those that relate to keys you press (normally called Hotkeys in ISBoxer) but not those that relate to keys sent to the game (normally called Key Combinations in ISBoxer) because the game does not recognise the G13-G1 key.

Re: ISBoxer Startup Error

Go into the Inner Space folder and find the file InputDevices.XML. This file stores information about your input devices, like the G13. It sounds like it's corrupted. Delete the InputDevices.XML file, and it will be re-created automatically the next time you launch Inner Space. After it's re-created, re-launch ISBoxer and your G13 should be available in the Hotkey drop-downs again. :)

Re: ISBoxer Startup Error

Deleting the InputDevices.XML file and restarting worked. Thanks!
