Logitech G510 keys can't be global?

I have a Logitech G510 keyboard, which is supported by InnerSpace / ISBoxer. However, I can't use the native G-Keys as "global" hotkeys. If I use them as native keys (rather than binding them to a keypress like Ctrl-Alt-1) they only work when an InnerSpace controlled window is in the foreground. I'd love to be able to use the native keys directly as global hotkeys (so G1 switches focus to IS1 regardless of what application currently has focus.).

Is this possible and I'm just missing it somehow?

Global Hotkeys are keys that can be registered by Windows hotkey API and use the standard Virtual Key Codes. G keys do not fulfil the requirements of the API, as they are not using standard Virtual Key Codes to identify the G Keys.
