As far as relevance to this topic, the video pretty much just showed how to do this
When I tell people to do that, their first reaction is "but I want to play in a window". So they don't try it. ISBoxer is going to force the game into a window regardless of whether the game is in full screen or windowed mode. However, the game will behave differently if it knows it is in a window, versus if it thinks it is in full screen mode. That is why it may be helpful to adjust this setting.
Beside that, you should make sure that all of your windows are in the same windowed mode setting, and resolution.
