Creating a toggle for auto interact with target

When using the wizard to create a new team in wow classic, there is a checkbox for auto interact with target when broadcasting basic keys.

Turning this on is great for when grinding or questing but when in a dungeon it is very annoying as I have a healer slave.

I've been trying to find a way to toggle this on or off when needed but cannot find where to do this in Key Maps. I've tried setting hotkeys to the following options but it doesn't seem to work.

Could anybody help me create a toggle for the auto-interact with target when broadcasting basic keys?

Re: Creating a toggle for auto interact with target

Sure, first unassign NUM9 from Auto-Interact with Target (Active Method) :-)

Then make a new mapped key e.g "Toggle IWT" in group Toggles, assign it a hotkey (e.g. NUM9) and under actions use the Mapped Key State Action. See https://isboxer.com/wiki/Mapped_Key_State_Action

The Mapped Key State Action can toggle Auto-Interact with Target (Active Method) on and off.

As I mentioned yesterday in another thread, you can go even further and use a clickbar button to visually show in which state the Auto-Interact mapped key is in. In that case you will need to make a 2-step toggle for on and off. You can look at some of the other standard toggle keymaps for examples of how to do this. See https://isboxer.com/wiki/Click_Bar
