Cursor behind control panel

I am using ISBoxer for Diablo 3. I have just started using it. I'm experiencing problems with the in-game control panel (ctrl+shift+alt+g). When i bring it up the mouse cursor doesn't show on it. It seems to go "behind" it. If i line it up right (difficult without a visual) it will click the options. I've spent the last 3-4 hrs trying to find a fix. Any help is appreciated.

Re: Cursor behind control panel

I have been working with getting DCUO working with ISBoxer and unfortunately am also having this issue. I have searched the forums for this issue with others, and have noted that the answers seem to vary.

1. viewtopic.php?f=35&t=4577&p=20577&hilit=cursor+behind+control+panel#p20577 - has this issue but is using Neverbox, so don't think this applies.
2. viewtopic.php?f=18&t=4789&p=21691&hilit=isboxer+control+panel#p21690 - had this problem but was related to a change in Input Device settings. (I have not changed these settings).
3. viewtopic.php?f=13&t=2096&p=8654&hilit=isboxer+control+panel#p8654 - states "Terraria renders its own cursor instead of having Windows render it. Unfortunately this means it hides beneath the ISBoxer Control Panel and other in-game ISBoxer widgets. There will be a build of ISBoxer available soon that will work around this while you have the ISBoxer Control Panel un-hidden (with Ctrl+Shift+Alt+G), but the game's cursor will still hide underneath any Click Bars, etc while the ISBoxer Control Panel is hidden." sounds the closest to the problem?
4. there was another post but I haven't been able to locate it again, but it seems that the issue was the same as above.

any help would be appreciated.

If the cursor moves beneath the ISBoxer Control Panel instead of over it, then the game is software-rendering the cursor instead of using the Hardware Cursor. Does the game have a Software/Hardware cursor option? This is the first thing to check for, for any game

Re: Cursor behind control panel

I believe it is software. Technically there is no cursor in the game, except for interacting with the various menus. In-order to even get a cursor to show you have to enter into a menu.
