Lost a Char, No key modifier sent to slot

I was working away, playing the game. Everything was working great. Wife called me for dinner, so I turned on Boardcasting. Did /exit in game on slot 1 like normal. Ate dinner came back loaded the psi in play team, buffed, stance checked all slots. Ran out with Axanager ( Tank ) used in game macro for a pull. Ran back to the group. Hit ` which is my DPS Hotkey, all other windows started to run DPS Rotations. Axanager ( Slot 4 ) didn't. Was like what the hell... So logged out, restarted computer, reload everything etc.. Hit the ` to check and all slot except from slot 5 invaild target. turned on Debugg, turned on force. When I hit the ` all slots but slot 4 is getting the key modifiers, check make sure all keymaps for him are on and they are. built a new group just to check and still the same.

So any help would be great helpful.. about to start all over, and I have alot of time and effort into this team.

Try enabling the Hold option on your DPS Rotation mapped key under Combat Hotkeys. Some games require this Hold option to be enabled in order to correctly detect the modifiers being held down.

But I'm not entirely sure what you're saying regarding "When I hit the ` all slots but slot 4 is getting the key modifiers"

I will tell you that you don't need to assign every Key Map to your whole team though. You have several Key Maps that are clearly intended to only be used by one Character, named after the Character that uses them. I would remove those from your Character Set (leave attached to the individual character that uses it).

Slot 4 ( Axanager DPS Rotation ) is the issue, tho I have been digging and testing.. If I change the Virtual combat dps rotation from axanager dps rotation to a new dps test.. The key mod's work and are sending. So I have just done that to fix it..

As for the char's and all of them being assigned to each other.. As I read the setup for this config, and am trying to make it so that Each char has there own mapped key set. And anyone else can make them use it.

I have been playing around with the set, assignments. I m in the middle of moving over to a Menu system away from the Click bars. Tho finding that to be alittle fun.

Only the Target needs to have it assigned. If you want Axanger to do something, presumably you have what Axanger needs to do set up in the Axanger Key Map. Presumably you don't want Skinnybean to use Axanger's DPS Rotation, you want Skinnybean to use Skinnybean's DPS Rotation. So Skinnybean's DPS Rotation doesn't need to be assigned to Axanger. Skinnybean can make Axanger do Axanger's DPS Rotation, without Skinnybean being assigned Axanger's DPS Rotation.

The only time you need one of these assigned to another Character is if THAT WINDOW needs to do what you have configured in the Mapped Key. Anyone else can make the one that it's assigned to, use it.
