How long is your is boxer toolkit?

Now that I am becoming better at this I am adding macros and key maps and mapped keys galore. I also have more then one character set with about 7 atg's.

My isboxer is getting pretty long and unruly to have to sort through sometimes! I'm wondering how people deal with this? Do you load and unload different character sets as needed? I was thinking of doing this but I use the cls config because I don't want to make all those wow macros myself. I was wondering if there was a way to seperate out the macros by class in a file so I can import the ones I need on a case by case basis. I tried to open the XML file but I am no programmer and I didn't know what I was looking for to single out.

So I'm curious how all of you old time multi boxers deal with this issue as I'm sure your toolkits are way longer then mine!

Re: How long is your is boxer toolkit?

If I were to make a configuration from scratch, it would be based on the 'Like a Pro' configuration.
And when I eventually 10-box, I'll need to redo my configuration fairly drastically (from the 5-box version I'm using now), so will likely use a variation on the 'Like a Pro' setup then.

In the meantime, this is what I'm doing...

My FTL DPS Keymap is the default and not modified in any way.
My Control Keymap has a few modifications, but is mostly default.

When I make a new team, I let the wizard generate stuff for me.

I then edit the team, by clicking the character set name in the top left pane of the Toolkit.
I will create a copy of the FTL DPS Keymap, and rename the copy to whatever the character set is.
I will then delete (from the bottom left pane) the FTL DPS Keymap so that no longer applies to the new team.
I will drag the Keymap named after the team to Key Maps, so this does apply to the team.
In the lower right pane, the second tab is Key Map White/Black Lists; I select White List, and then highlight (by clicking) so that Control, General and the Team Specific Key Maps are highlighted, but none of the others are.
That means, FTL DPS Keys and the other Team Specific Key Maps cannot load for this team.

The Control Key Map, needs to be edited.
Specifically, the Activate Maps needs to be edited so that it enables/disables the team specific map.

My basic setup is:
a) Control is always on, so things that are never turned off go here... generally mapped keys, without hot keys.
b) General applies to every team... so things like Shift F5 = Flying Mount and Shift F10 = Ground Mount... G1 is IWT (manually, to all windows), G18 is invite the team, etc...
c) Team Specific Key Map which only applies to this team.

If I want my '4' key to be Death and Decay...
I edit the Team Specific Key Map, so that it sends a Send Next Click Action to all of my DKs, in addition to sending the default FTL Assist + 4 Keybind to my windows.
Because this is team specific, that doesn't mean '4' will be anything other than default for other teams.

So a given keybind might be a Round-Robin for one team.
And a Send Next Click action for another.
And the default for most teams.
In general, my AoE is on the same keybind for every team, assuming the team has an AoE.

The idea of the Pro configuration is key virtualization.

You push the '1' key for base DPS stuff.
And maybe the '4' key is your AoE stuff.
It doesn't matter which team you're on, the configuration will interpret the '4' to be the appropriate spell for each character on the team.

So you could even mix and match characters, almost on the fly.
Assign the appropriate virtualized key maps, export and you're set.

Re: How long is your is boxer toolkit?

I'm using the CLS "like a pro" config as well. The problem that I'm running into is that the lists (the macro list for example) is just so long. I have it configured with virtual mapped keys and all that. Its still long though.
