Window truncation problem

I am trying to configure ISBoxer to run 3 instances of an old game, Earth & Beyond (aka Net7). InnerSpace launches the three instances and positions the game windows in three regions (1:1024x768, 2:640x480, 3:640x480) just fine. The problem is that the two 640x480 windows are truncated, showing only the upper-left 640x480 of a 1024x768 window.

All three instances are using 1024x768 as the window size. The window size is set by a separate configuration tool, and is stored in the registry.

Is there a way to change registry settings on a per-region basis before launching (i.e. in a Pre-Startup script)? Or is there a better way to solve this problem?

Re: Window truncation problem

Try setting the game itself to full screen mode and see if that helps. That's probably the easiest thing to do. Otherwise, I'll have to check it out when I get home in a few days

Re: Window truncation problem

Thanks for the feedback.

Full screen mode did not solve the problem. Rather than complicate things with using windows of diffent sizes, I have settled on making the windows the same size, and seem to have the window region setup working.

I was able to virtualize the login.ini file, though it was non-trivial given that the game is not recognized. So far so good.

From here, I'm trying to figure out how to repeat the 'T' key from my main character to the other characters to get the ships in formation.
