How do I get my slaves to do something, but not my main char

I'm pretty sure I remember doing this a while back, and this is really basic but:

How do I get my "slaves" to do something, but not my main character?

Create an Action Target group and put everyone but your main in that group. Then use that group as the target.

Sorry, how exactly do I do that? I'm rather new.

Edit: After googling I think I can figure it out, I'm not at home at the moment so I can't try now.

Edit2: Another thing I was wondering is, without the repeater on, They all do 1-12 by default when I press one of those buttons, how do I add Shift 1-12 to that?

If you have a new question, please open up a new thread, but to answer you here:

Use the Mapped Key Wizard to add more keys.

To answer your first question, you can also select "Window: All w/o Current" in the Target box. This will mean all window except your active toon.

Using an Action Target Group means the toons in it wont change if you change your active toon, using "Window: All w/o Current" will always refer to the current slaves.
