Directing key strokes to Targets.

I have a small issues. I'm sure it's to do with the setup somewhere but I can't seem to locate where.

I have a Mapped Key setup so I press X it then sends an action to a character instance. This works fine if the Mapped Key "target" is set to "Character Slot: x" or a target action group. If I change the target to "Character: name" it doesn't trigger. I'm playing a game and I run different group configuration depending on my needs so it would be nice to link actions to character names rather than character slots.

At the moment as work around I've create a target action group for each character and use that as the mapped key target. Not ideal but seems to work.

I'm laying cash there is a tickbox I missed somewhere.

Thanks for any help.

It would help to see your configuration in order to answer this question. http://isboxer.com/wiki/Configuration_Sharing

Do your character names have punctuation/operators in them? e.g. ( ) , & | @ #

Re: Directing key strokes to Targets.

Actually that could be it. The names are Moosey(Ragefire) < Server name

Problem resolved. Special characters in the name cause issues when directing mapped keys to character names.

On a side note once you rename the character within the ISboxer tool kit you will need to close the character instance down and reopen it so it initialises with the new character name before you're able to "Export to Innerspace" and update that client.

Thanks again for the assist.
