You could use some other webchat like Chat.Mibbit.com or use a real IRC client like HexChat, MIRC, etc.

Yes, this link to the ISBoxer Chat Room requires JavaScript. Any web-based chat worth beans is going to require JavaScript (or Java, but no thanks)
