[EQ1] Cannot type username or password

I just paid for and downloaded IS boxer and followed the quick setup video guide (even though it was for wow, seemed to work the same way for EQ). When I right click the little target icon in my taskbar and tell it to launch my profile, it loads up to the accept / decline EULA screen. Once I click accept and click inside the account name box to type in my username, I cannot type anything. My cursor is in the box and when i try to type, nothing at all happens. Any help for this available?

Edit: Just for more info, I'm running Windows XP SP3 with all updates completed

The last person that came in saying they couldn't type anything had malware (probably a keylogger) that interfered with the normal operation of Inner Space. That guy's thread is here: http://isboxer.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=512. I would start by scanning for viruses and spyware.

That is, unless you are using a special (e.g. programmable) keyboard that has software running on the system, in which case you may just need to run that software as Administrator.

You can also try switching to the development build of Inner Space, which improves compatibility with some software. To do this, right click the Inner Space icon in the system tray and select Patcher, check "Download development (test) patches" then close and restart Inner Space.

I tried the development build, that didn't help. I tried doing it with a standard USB keyboard and that didn't work either. Eventually I found a work around by running EQ without patching.

Edit: Also, is there a guide or something on how to work the key mapping and repeater functions of the program?
