FTL Mouse click?

Is it possible to set up one of my extra mouse buttons as an FTL key similar to the FTL DPS keys? I want to assign a macro for both of my toons so that I can repeatedly spam this mouse click and go through their damage rotations. Im having a hard time getting the mouse click to repeat in both characters though. How would I go about setting this up?

Thanks

Re: FTL Mouse click?

The same way you set up other FTL keys. However, although it is convenient to use a mouse button as a Hotkey, you probably do NOT want it passed as the Key Combination. That's because the click may end up hitting a UI element depending on where you left the cursor in that window.

To set this one up, make a copy of one of the existing FTL DPS Keys (e.g. "DPS 1"). Set the Hotkey to the extra mouse button (Mouse1, Mouse2, Mouse3, Mouse4, Mouse5 are supported, any more than that and it's a special button on the mouse that would probably need to be configured as a keyboard button), you can just click in the auto-detect box. Then in Step 1 instead of "1 -> all" send something else (if you want). Just don't send the mouse button. You can make it send the same thing as one of the existing mappings as you want.

Re: FTL Mouse click?

ok. thats what i was doing wrong. I was having it send the mouse key instead of something else. good point about the UI as well. I think ill just have the mouse key set to spam one of the function keys instead and ill just place the castsequence macro there for each toon.
